The film Toy Story focuses on ‘the importance of friendships’. It tells the viewers how special friendships can be, because some people forget how special they are. And how important they are in everybody’s life.

Characters I found interesting was Buzz and Woody, because of their friendship they share. When buzz comes into andy’s life woody got jealous, knowing that he wasn’t going to be andy’s favourite toy anymore. but after the adventures that buzz and woody shared, they soon were good friends. Their friendship reminded me of my good friend who I’ve been friends with for 5 years, we are always there for each other through thick and thin, like woody and buzz. Sometimes we fight but then we fix it 5 minutes later.

Messages I took away from the film was that you need friends to get through life, friends support through the tough times in your life. They are all you have to get through your school life, they always have your back no matter what. Another message I took away from the film was Woody cared about Andy, ” being there for a child is the most noble thing you can do as a toy”. Woody says this to Forky because woody was always there for Andy, and wants the best for Bonnie and Forky. It also tells the viewers that Woody and Andy shared a very special friendship, Woody was Andy’s favourite toy until buzz comes into Andy’s life. Bonnie created Forky at her preschool on her first day, ” you have to be there for Bonnie”, just like a parent is.

Challenges that arose in this film is when Andy goes off to college and gives his toys to bonnie his sister, Woody and Buzz both thought that they weren’t loved anymore by Andy because they were given to Bonnie, in the real world people normally keep there toys, and not give them away to there siblings. because of the memories you have with them and how big of a part they played in your childhood life, you spend your whole childhood with these toys. Personally I would never pass my toys on to other people because I don’t want anything bad to happen to them.

The title of the film is appropriate, because toy story is about the life of toys. The main idea of the film is ‘ The importance of friends’, and how much you need friends in your life, friends are like family, so keep them close.

I would recommend this film to any child at any age because it will teach children the lesson of not giving you toys away to your younger siblings, which is a big mistake.
